man what about zach thomas?

this guy is just a animal out there he deserves defensive mvp the guy is just awesome some wondered how he would fit in a three four well he is showing he is great no matter what. the scheme he is just making more plays now with this defence cause we blitz more he he is just all over the field. :dolphins: p.s. did i mention he is playing with a shoulder that will most likely require surgery. ;)
 
He also planted Doug Jolley in the 1st quarter. A few plays later he drilled Jerald Sowell on the sidelines.

Zach had about 4 big hits today.
 
Zach's tackle was awesome...I believe it was on Houston who was running like crazy on us.....Zach slammed him down. I love Zach,.....he always plays hard even when he is all banged up. :)

Ihave that catch but from the backside and you can't see the Jets player coming up for the INT that Gadsden stole from him... That was one of the best catches ever... Oh how I miss Gadsden!!!:cry:

I remember that hit. It got me up and off my chair! He smacked into that guy and stuck like a tick! His feet flew up in the air, but somehow he stuck. It was insane! That will be on the Sportscenter highlights for sure.

But Zach was having trouble sticking his tackles all day. He was hitting hard and bouncing off all day. The Jets' RB popped him in the open field at the end of the game and rumbled right over him for the first down. That was right before the goaline stand at the end.

Zach is a great player. No doubt. All-pro, all the way. I just hate to see him overworked. Miami needs to contnue to bring in youth on defense so Zach can stay around and play strong for another 4 years or so.
 
Ive always been a big fan of that bulldog! I stil remember a lot of the posters in here saying he's overrated....LOL!

i remember that play and actually zach came in at the end of that play and stopped him from getting a 1st but the refs gave a terrible spot. dont blame that on zach he made a hell of a play.

Nah. Actually he didn't stop them on that play. But he did make alot of great tackles today. More good tackles than bad. But on that specific play, like a few times before, he hit the RB and fell right off him. The RB ran down to the 14 yard line. I think they did give the Jets a good spot. It was very close to the first down though. Maybe Zach's shoulder was keeping him from being able to wrap up sometimes today?
