I am going to bring this up because I need to. Miami is a team that needs to grind to win football games. Buffalo did not win that game; Miami just lost that game. Fumbling our team out of field goal range, running 15 yards backwards for a sack, throwing INTs', getting sacked to kill our drives and the block punt (which was not dauntes fault). Was the reason we lost this football game. As a Quarterback, your primary job is to protect the football + the line of scrimage. I get the impression that Daunte Culpepper wants to make the big play every time. I saw him on multiple occasions run out of the pocket, scramble backwards and either get sacked, or fumble/almost fumble. Buffalo only drove down the field 2 times this game (where willis had a few big runs & the long pass interferance penalty) How do we eliminate this? 1) Stay in the pocket, 2) Stick with the running game, 3) Get Randy Mcmichael more involved. 3) If no1 is open, learn to throw the ball away! It is not fair to say Harrington would have let us win the game, but I do think Harrington would have of given us a better opportunity to win. Yes, Harrington will not throw for 350 yards, however, he does'nt make as many drive ending mistakes, and when you are playing a defensive game, and have a running back as good as we have, stupid sacks, INT's and poor judgement will set you on a first class ticket to failure. Just my honest, fair opinion.

Fair assessment....

I didn't panic after the Steelers loss... was dissappointed, sure. But today was nothin like last years home opener. Despite a great defense in 2004....some bad memories of that year are coming back.
Let this be the worst game and move on......
Was looking forward to the dolphins gettin big gains on the ground....hot sunny Miami weather in 4th quarter...... well conditioned Dolphins team
