Mando: Brady is in Decline

hard to say if Brady fell off or if his teammates are just that bad. something is off

I think that its a combination of the two. Kenbrell Thompkins, and Dobson dropping half the balls thrown their way doesn't help. Also the timing he has with his receivers is off. However, Tom Brady is also missing wide open throws and I think you are beginning to see the frustration he has with the inefficiency of the offense grow. Even with the return of Gronkowski, Brady struggled last week, particularly in the second half throwing a bad ball that was returned for a pick 6. The past three weeks he has 1 td and 3 ints, and in that stretch they are 1-2 and really should be 0-3 but they had the great comeback to beat the Saints.

It's 50% on Brady and 50% on his weapons, from what I've seen.

The interception he threw at the end of the Saints game was awful, and underthrowing an open Edelman for a touchdown twice was on him, too.

He's missing some throws. Just flat missing them.

(I still think he's going to kill Miami on Sunday)

That interception was the first time I actually thought there may be something to the whole "Brady is declining" thing. It very well may have been nothing more than an isolated incident, but if it turns out a few years from now that we look back at 2013 as the start of his decline, that interception will stand out to me as the beginning of the end.

I knew you'd go here and you're wasting your time trying to compare Tannehill with arguably the best to ever play the game.

I think he is actually trying to compare Thill's rookie season to Brady in his prime...

Anyone that watched a lot of football when Brady was young will remember how conservative the pat's offense was back then. His first couple years as a starter he was not much more than a game manager. Of course that was after riding the bench his rookie year.

But hey, never let reality interfere with your personal agenda.

Maybe we can deploy the Wildcat formation and catch them off guard...?
