Ellerbe isn't as bad as Wheeler. I could get behind him in a back up role. Wallace better agree to take less
 
NICE! If the money is right, i'm cool with keeping Ellerbe. Wallace is staying regardless so this is a bonus if he restructures.

If Ellerbe stays its to start, no way you have a bench player making 5-6+ million, the guy is slated for 9 mill right now what do we think this miracle restructure is actually going to produce?
 
I am not opposed to trying Ellerbe in the middle again. Playing behind Suh and Mitchell could help him.

That said, I would only keep him with a massive pay cut.
 
Is Ellerbee really a better option at MLB than Mason Foster or Brandon Spikes? We don't need a stud MLB for this year, just a solid, legitimate NFL starter and our run D should be tremendously better.
 
Makes sense to restructure Ellerbe, No dead money, and no better options available.

And hes a decent player. With Suh in front if him now, he should really be able to fly around.
 
Where the hell would you start Ellerbe? Not at mike - he's got awful instincts. Jenkins isn't going to the bench and Misi is a better option than Ellerbe.

how will he start when Jenkins is a stud and Misi is a stud at OLB where he will be going back to. Ellerbe can't be a MLB in this scheme
 
good for Wallace.... meh for Ellerbe
 
At this point it seems like a good move with Ellerbe assuming the money is right. IMO it doesn't make LB as much of a need going into the draft and will allow us to focus more on other holes. We need to fix the offensive line!!!
......And please get a big receiver to give Tanny another redzone target.
 
I still think Ellerbe ends up getting cut.
