I agree the 24/7 coverage + twitterverse has changed the game, but that is why I don't really pay attention to Salguero anymore. And you are correct CK, nothing wrong with it other than it is stale info. Honestly, guys going to camp and posting here, plus the tweet summaries, gives me so much more than dudes paid to observe the team and cull information. Salguero rarely makes me think and he is a mediocre writer. That is two strikes in a game in which you only get two strikes. If you can't provide fresh info, you better take what I know and make me look at it differently through your writing. Jeff Darlington I think is pretty good.
On the other end of the spectrum is Omar Kelly's bizarre relationship with his twitter followers. Probably a shtick, but man is it annoying to wade through his "don't ask me about the qb" nonsense. Honestly, the dude I listen to the most, though I disagree with him here somewhat, is ckparrothead. You should be covering the team. Seriously.
