Mando Just Lost my Respect - He Wants Parcells to be the Next HC

I really don´t know if it was for real or not, but it sounded like it was. This morning I was listening to yesterdays Podcast and at the end of the show Mando said Ross/Ireland should call Parcells and ask him to be the HC to which his co-host replied "Are you freaking kidding me?" and sarcastically something like "You should call the guy that ran this franchise into a ditch"

Some people never learn...

But on the other hand I kinda like his co-host´s opinions on things...

I know but his podcast wasn't downloading so I got stuck with Armando's.

My list of preference is:
Le Batard's, Kornheiser's(Even thought it's mainly a Washington-DC show), Sedano's and then Armando´s.

as a coach you should want him, he was a mediocre GM type but he's an all time great coach but is he too old at this point? I'd rather have him as a HC than Gruden, Billick, Fisher or Cowher.

Except he would never come in just as the coach which is why I wasn't a fan of him coming in the first place. Great coach .... Yes. Executive.......terrible. And he came here just as an executive. I doubt he ever goes to another team, but if he does it's going to be with having full power.

he's better as cooach/Gm than just as GM. he can at least coach up his mistakes while as a GM he couldn't do that.

The thing is, as a czar like he has with the Dolphins if he saw something wrong wasn't his job to make sure everything was fine and fire Sparano´s bleep if it was necessary? Riley did that with the Heat...

790 - Jorge thinks by screaming louder then everyone he can make his point more assertively.
640 - Armando - Armando sounds like a 12 year old whose scrotums havent dropped yet, so annoying to listen to. And he knows jack about football.

I disagree that Parcells ran this franchise into a ditch. Cam Cameroon ran this franchise off a cliff, and Parcells rebuilt the engine, did most of the body work and put on new tires. He got the franchise back on the highway. The franchise is still not tuned properly, and we cannot keep the franchise straight on the road. It seems Parcells forgot to put the bolts on the steering wheel back before he left town. We are swerving all over the road.
Sorry for the lame analogy.
As far as him becoming head coach? No way. He is too old and he really doesn't care about coaching our franchise.

I remember him turning around the franchise and winning the AFC East his first year here. We had winning record against the jests, and beat the Pats a few times in that period. Anyone who thinks he ran the franchise into a ditch is just making mindless noise. Look at what the previous few years were like before saying anything so inane. :rolleyes2:
