One theory that makes sense: the fact that Aponte feels good enough to leave while everyone else is in the building indicates she's safe.
 
If she left the building, IMO she's been tipped as to what's about to go down.

Clearing out is a classic "I didn't have anything to do with it "defense. Distance yourself from the fallout.
