He's right on one thing, goodbye mediocrity. I'm thinking this would get us to the playoffs. Isn't that what we want? Anyway, it depends on what you believe. Are we a couple years away with who we have here now or has 12 years of nothingness meant we are ready to win now with an older qb and proven coach? We could get another qb in an upcoming draft.

I'm a gambler, I say do it.

Brees is 36, soon to be 37 - how long would he last behind this line? Plus you give away multiple picks which makes it harder to address the line because you need the remaining picks to fix the Defense.

Don't see this happening and definitely don't like it.

This is such an unrealistic and dumb article.

It is virtually impossible salary cap-wise.
 
Anyone else remember when Mando stated in separate articles for Andre Johnson and Vince Wilfork by using multiple first round picks?
 
Brees is too old and IMO in steep decline. I think his days are numbered. Also what good is Brees if you have a bunch of WRs who can't get separation and drop the ball. We don't have a Jimmy Graham or a Marques Colston or a Brandin Cooks. Stills is the only constant.
 
I am sorry, but I like this coaching staff better...
HC: Hue Jackson
OC: Al Saunders
DC: Jim Schwartz...bring in Jim Washburn as a Dline coach to motivate Suh even more

HC: Todd Haley
OC: Ken Whisenhunt
DC: Jim Schwartz, Mike Smith...imagine if Teryl Austin is let out of Detroit?

Mando's solution is such an over the top, Madden-like solution to a team that simply needs solid coaching and development along with vast improvement at interior Oline, LB and DB...while at the same time keeping their some of their own.

Haley at HC scares me worse than Marrone. With Haleys history of how he treats his QB and offensive players I think it would be a huge mistake to bring him in as HC. OC sure, but not a decision maker.

I know what you are saying, but when you read how he has grown as a coach in Pittsburgh, it really does not bother me as much. Plus, all I hear is how this current group of players love playing for Coach Campbell. Yet, each game they don't come through with big plays and make dumb ones at the same time. I do not care if the players like the next coach just as long as they respect him.
