Mando: Zimmer No Longer in Consideration for Head Coach Job

Why would anyone tell Armando this information? If you were the guy making a final decision would you say, "Zimmer is no longer being considered for the job?" I kind of doubt it. Armando is just throwing stuff at the wall hoping something sticks. Crappy journalism as usual.
 
if true interesting. Philbin supposedly wowed Ross pretty good during the first interview. Bowles is always a good interview for jobs, and reports were McCoy was expected to kill any interview he got. Three totally different people too.
 
I agree, not married to Zimmer, but what got him eliminated? Has an impressive resume and good things from coaches that have worked with him . . . . . Now if it's because they want to go completely with an offense-minded coach that makes us dynamic, great. But the list of McCoy, Bowles and Philbin don't scream that to me. While I kind of like Philbin, even he's a big ?? in all this. And that's assuming he's willing to come down here with all the personal stuff going on.
 
I believe MM will be the guy and Bowles could be the DC/AHC?

Bummer. That Zimmer and Hue Jackson coaching staff was very interesting.
 
Salguero even wrote an article telling the public not to listen to the media. Could this be some sort of idiotic lesson he's trying out to put "us" to shame?
 
If someone told armando hes out of the running, that probably means hes the front runner.
