I know he had a bad workout and has some character issues, but I am thinking this guy could be specimen. Some of the catches he made for UM were unreal, and in 2006 he was almost unstoppable. I know we need 1 more WR, and I am thinking he may fall to the Fins. He has the ability to be a star receiver in the NFL with the right coaching.

Would Tuna take him?
 
Depends on how far he falls after lying about his Mary Jane usage in college. I would take Jordy Nelson over Mario any day.
 
Id take Mario over Nelson, but he needs to clean up his act.

I can toss aside the MJ incidents because I believe in 2nd chances. But to lie when you have zero chance of getting away with it? That kind of judgment making ability could get him into some serious trouble in Miami.
 
Pass. I doubt he's even on our draft board.

I can see him sliding into the 4th round if not further.

Unfortunately I agree with you. I dont think we will draft him. However I did have a dream about a month ago that we did draft him and in his first game as a Dolphin he had a long reverse and a bomb for TD's. I do think he will be a very good player but I dont know if he will be able to keep out of trouble. A lot of players do not know how to stay clean and out of trouble when they have been trouble makers there whole lives.
 
is this going to be a Michigan draft for the Dolphins Jake Long, Chad Henne, and Mario Manningham

The math on this one is quite simple...

Lack of size and speed + History of pot + liar + lies to potential employer even when he knows the employer will find out it's a lie + way more money than most people have + lots of free time + South Beach = Disaster

I'd be very surprised to see Mario get drafted by Miami.

Bingo. I think Parcells is more partial to Adrian Arrington than Manningham.

However I suspect that they may end up taking Earl Bennett if they take a receiver. No tangible evidence, just a gut feeling.
 
If he has any kind of success in the league, you're looking at another TO. I personally don't want a self-righteous jerk on the team.
