Maybe those “Manning Brothers at the Super Bowl†story lines were a tad premature, but it’s not too early to start making comparisons between Peyton and Eli, one the undisputed statistical champion at the NFL’s most visible position, and the other a bona fide rising star.

Peyton has made the Colts the AFC favorite to reach this season’s Super Bowl, as all roads will go through Indianapolis’ s NASCAR-fast indoor track, where the home team is a blur on offense. Eli, in just his second pro season, has displayed astounding fourth-quarter magic and put the Giants in the thick of both the NFC East and wild-card chases.

The scions of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning have helped to make this the First Family of Pro Football, a fact not lost on one long-time NFL official who called Manning Mania “mind-boggling, almost unfathomable. Just consider how hard it is to play quarterback in this league, and you have two brothers this talented. And Archie  he was a really terrific player who got stuck on some really bad teams.

Ya but I think Eli Manning is starting to fall off a bit now! He started off so consistant this season and now he is becoming more inconsistant as the season progresses. He threw a lot of interceptions just the Defense kept giving him chances to recover from his mistakes last game I think!

I am not saying he is not a great QB I am just saying he is not looking as good as he was at the beginning of the season and that might kill his playoff chances.
