Ok HONESTLY, if Manning is cleared to play and is 100 percent healthy do you have an issue with us using our number 1 pick for another offensive lineman? Would you agree and be ok with us trying for a top tier offensive lineman or 2 in the free agency? Im thinking i would like to keep him healthy as long as possible....

Thats what i figured the plan was anyway. Build the line even further to help manning out, Riley Reiff if hes on the board still is my pick

**** If we sign manning you can use all the pics you want to get lineman. Im dead ass man.

Hell no, you still go BPA . . . I'm not passing up a slipping Claiborne for Reilly Reiff. RT is honestly not that hard to fill. Even on our team now we have Murtha, Jerry, Carey and Garner . . . plus 2nd/3rd round options. We don't have to reach for a RT so early.

I'm also going with no. I'd be ok with using our 2nd on a lineman, but not the 8th overall. I know we've missed on a linemen other than in the first round, but I also don't think any of those guys were as early as the 2nd.

I think he will want to know that some plan is in place to upgrade our OL before he were to consider signing with us or anyone else. The last thing he's going to do is sign with some team where he gets hit anymore than he did in Indy (which was rare). So either drafts and/or free agency will be used fairly heavily to bring in talent to protect him. I'd bank on that. We are about 2-3 good linemen away from having just that. But I don't want us to forget our other needs too.

If Claiborne doesn't slip to us, I would be all for us drafting Decastro, who proved he might be the best offensive lineman in the draft even over Kalil, just because he's an interior lineman it takes away from his value. This would alow Richie to move to the right side. We can take a flyer on a RT later in the draft, seeing as how Murtha or Jerry are already an upgrade to what we had last year at RT in Columbo.

I'm truly not sold on Coples, he reminds me to much of Vernon GHoston (great combine numbers)... Only differnce is Gholdston actually had some success in College where Coples has so so numbers.

If we can get the best lineman available then pull the trigger. If it's a 2nd or 3rd best, then either trade down or take best player available. It would serve to help Peyton if we got another beast on defense or offense no matter what the position. At some point we would need to make sure our Oline is ready to protect our investment, simple and plain.

I'd be ok with it if Peyton makes that a condition that we have to do to bring him in. But if he signs with the Dolphins as is, I'd want to go with more of a playmaker with the first pick.

I think that's exactly what we should do. OL is under-rated in the NFL. An inordinate proportion of great Super Bowl champion teams have had dominant OL's, including our own Dolphins.

8th is to high for a OL for us this year, go BPA and fix the line with either FA or the 2nd or 3rd round..

I say no. We take the BPA. Kuechly, or Richardson will likely be there for the taking. Both are can't miss talents. Or draft Tannehill, but I wouldn't at #8. He is no better than the other 2nd tier QB's IMHO.
I think we should cut Solai, and restructure Dansby, Bell, and Long and then sign Jeff Saturday (center), Manning and Wayne.
We cannot spend so much on the oline. We can draft Zeitler(sp) in the 2nd round as to groom and move Pouncey to RG for a couple of years.
In 2 years time, we can transition back to Pouncey as center, plug in Zeitler(sp) at RG.
These moves give us a nice blend of veterans, experience, and young talent.
Just my .02
