Manning doesnt need a bidding war...

Something I dont get... Why do we keep thinking Manning is using x team for leverage against y and z team? This isnt your typical free agent. And despite that he is coming off serious injury, I think the market has already dictated that the price for Manning will be high. With owners like Ross and Tenn's owner saying they want him no matter what (Before meetings even happened), there's no need to meet with us simply to tell Denver or Arizona hes wanted. The whole world knows hes wanted... Meeting with us wont drive the price up any higher than it already is..

I think the whole concept that Peyton is using any team to drive the price up is just wrong. 99% of the time, yes.. But not this time...

Hey if it looks like **** and smells like **** 99 percent of the time it is ****. He might not be doing it for the money but might be doing this to say hey sign this Guy and that Guy that I want cuz team X said they were willing to do it for me. it's obvious he wants to go to winning team and probably thinks that bringing in some of his former teammates is gonna give a chance to do that. I think what he is doing now is just a courtesy to other teens but I think we don't have a single chance to sign. I think he's either gonna be a bronco or a card

Why in the world does Peyton Manning need to do a courtesy to anyone?? Why waste time that he could be using to figure out what he wants to do, or finally open a playbook up... I doubt Peyton Manning wastes his time like that
