Manning heading back to Miami

Didn't someone mention that Peyton and Ross spoke by phone either the night Peyton was released by the Colts or the Night after, here, this thread http://www.finheaven.com/forums/sho...ss-tonight&highlight=ross+calls+manning...now if this is true, is it possible that either Peyton or Ross informed the other that there is no interest or that Peyton made Mr. Ross understand that he had the Broncos and Arizona at the top of this list and wanted to meet with them and see what they had to offer before agreeing to visit with Miami? I have no clue what to think anymore. We're still in it, we're not in it. We're doing things "behind the scenes" or we have nothing at all scheduled with Peyton and nothing planned to be scheduled.... It is frustrating that we don't know more, but, if indeed there was a phone conversation between Ross and Peyton last week, then, who knows what the meat of that conversation consisted of.

does anyone think that maybe Manning may not be heading home to Miami? I havent heard much lately on this. I could see Ross picking up Manning on his plane and heading to NYC.

No... why of all things would that be whats happening? Most things say he's headed back home to Miami. It's just too random and illogical to have the owner pick him up by himself, travel across the country nowhere near the team facilities
