Manning is a fan of South Florida, just bought a condo on South Beach

Once he is cut, I would be on his doorstep with an incentive-based/incremental deal that Manning could make the money he is losing by being cut by the Colts. He would have 48 hours to accept. If time passed, I would move on...

I would roll the dice that he would be able to return. IF he did not make enough progress by the draft, I would take a young QB from rounds 2-5 and keep Matt Moore. I am willing to play with Matt Moore next year if in fact Manning cannot return.

I want the motivated Manning.
I would take Tannehill at 8/9 and let him learn behind Manning.

He's also a fan of money, and that is where he goes. Who gives him the most money.

It's not about money as much as it is about winning Super Bowls. Peyton has more then enough money as evidenced bu his initially decling the 28 mil bonus saying that it was too much. Wherever he feels he has the best shot at winning titles is where he winds up.

I think it comes down to Miami or Arizona.

It's going to be either Miami or Arizona that signs Peyton. Fitz is reportedly recruiting Peyton hard to come out to the Valley. I hope Ross, Ireland, and Philbin have their best sales pitch ready.

Miami can remind him that with Miami you will also get a premier receiver, but also a great receiving RB, one of the better slot receivers playing, and a better defense to make his dream of reaching the SB again, a bit more realistic.

How great would Hartline, Bess, Clay and Fasano fit in with Manning's skill set? Wow...

The thing about having a QB like Manning is, there really isn't any specific type of receiver that he fits best with....fast, physical, or a smart receivers, all of them, can work well with Manning.

If we got a healthy Payton, I would be very excited to see how great Marshall, Hartline, Bess, and Fasano coaul be with him but what has me even more intrigued is how good can Clay be. I really like what I was seeing of him in the final few games.

Let's all take a few deep breaths here. If 50% of the athletes who have homes down here played for the local teams, it would be title town down here like we've never seen anywhere else. Millionaires in any industry often have homes in Miami. It's a beautiful place to live.

I'm trying really hard to temper my enthusiasm. The possibilities are beyond sexy...

I get so excited just thinking about a HEALTHY Peyton Manning on this team for the next 3 years, but everybody has to pause for a second because he is nowhere near close to healthy, yes his neck is now healed and there is no risk of him getting hit, BUT the nerves in his arm have not regenerated and the fact is nobody knows when this will happen, it could happen tomorrow morning, it may happen next month, and there is a serious possibility it never happens, yes, often times with this injury the nerves in the arm never regenerate, he is still having trouble gripping the football, he still has pain in his arm and tricep, the velocity on his ball is still not up to performance level, so there is still a HUGE hurdle for him to cross!
How dare you piss on our Manning wet dream! :rolleyes2:

In all seriousness though, the nerves regenerating is something that still worries me, as that'll effect velocity. Thankfully, it's February. Here's hoping to a full recovery.

If I were him, I'd go to San Fran. I could see him winning multiple championships there...with that defense and OL?? Sick.

i can't see how manning and harbaugh would be able to coexist ,IMO
but they would be scary if that were to happen. IMO

Believe it or not our team is just as talented as San Fran. We have a much better receiving corps but Vernon Davis is an absolute beast maybe little brother can sway him down here.
