Manning is coming to Miami......no doubt

I agree. Some players grow up as a Dallas Cowboy's fan and deep down they want to wear that star on their helmet, but as soon as they get that money, they become huge fans of whoever signs them. Many guys say, "It's not about the money," but they are lying. But with Peyton, I think he has more than enough money to be happy for life. I think he's made almost as much money from endorsements as he has from his NFL contracts. Hopefully Miami will be able to make their pitch and be the last team he talks to, and then he goes home to his wife, they talk about it and then he has a news conference on Tuesday saying he is coming to Miami. :woot:

I still think its going to be about money. Im hoping we make it happen but I doubt he takes alot less money to play in miami

We will not be outbid. Even if it comes down to capspace, Ross will simply tell Irland to cut who needs to be cut(in order to clear space) and close the effin deal.

Peyton doesn't really need boatloads of money. I think he is itching to pass little bro again more than anything else. That's his motivation....he wants a chance at another ring. Right now, I think the Dolphins give him the best chance to do that out of Arizona, Denver, and Miami. Either way, Ross should do whatever it takes to land him in Miami.

Of course its about money. Does he have other things imortant to him too? sure...but don`t forget that now..hes more than just a pro football player. Hes a dad of twins. He has a family, and when you have a family...your primary goal is to make sure that they are taken well care of now AND later. Which means a big bank account for him. Not just a comfortable 2-4 years. Make no mistake, his wife and his parents have just as much )if not more) say so in this matter than he does.

I heard on TV the other day Manning is worth 300 million so I don't think it will be about money. He has a couple of years left, he wants an indoor stadium or warm weather, he wants a team that can win and his wife apparently loves Miami (or they wouldn't have a condo which she is staying at while he is on the road) so I think if the right atmosphere (players and coaching) can be worked out he will be a Fin next year. I don't think money is the biggest factor.

Honestly, who didn't see this coming with all the reports saying he will choose between denver and arizona on sunday? When he went to the broncos, bunch of reports saying he will sign there and its a very good chance. Of course they are going to say that, he was there at the time. Guaranteed if he had a meeting with us, all the reports will say we are the huge favorite and its pretty much a done deal. IF he is really in arizona today, the reports will continue to say its down to arizona and denver.

My guess is tomorrow or tuesday he will be coming back to florida and reports will say miami has a meeting with him. No duh. Then on tuesday or wed it will be reported that miami is back into the mix and the favorites will be arizona and miami. Where he will sign? I don't know, could be anyone but these reports are just ridiculous and you just can't read too much into them. Lot of these reporters don't really know whats going on but they need to report on it because it will look like they aren't doing their job. Plus, I'm sure the agent is feeding a bunch of this information on whose the favorites to sign so the next team on the list will throw more money at him, miami.

Peyton wants another SB ring. He will go with the team who has the best chance to get to the playoffs and ultimately, the grand prize. A team with overall good players, speedy sticky fingered receivers, deep OL for protection is critical, and excellent coaches. Back in the day, Peyton had several pro bowl players on his team. He did not win a superbowl by himself.

That's it folks.

You always stop at your first option last. You go out and check out your second, third, fourth options first, then you visit your first option last so that after learning all about the other options, you know your first option is indeed the correct choice.

I don't know about you.....thats how I shop. It just common sense.

Manning will visit us last, sign and I am getting has jersey.

Bump...
