Manning Stock Watch on NFL.com has Mia as Favorites!

He has no one to throw to. A troubled oline. It's a team adjusting to a new coaching staff. AND we don't have much money to pay him. He's taking his talents to Davie. It's a lock.

Denver has an up and coming defense that is about to come into its own and a good young core on offense, too. They also play in a division that is there for the taking. The window is closing fast on San Diego (if it hasn't completely shut already). I would easily take Eric Decker and/or Demaryius Thomas over anything we have at Receiver. Just because they aren't household names yet doesn't mean they aren't good. They are both young guys who really came on last season and clearly have their best football ahead of them. You just can't say that about guys like Hartline and Bess. They are middling players at best.

Spin it however you want to, but Manning isn't coming to Miami. If I were you, I would wrap my head around that fact instead of worrying about people in the media having negative opinions about the team. It's time to face reality: the Dolphins have not given anyone in the media a reason to be overly positive in years. It is what it is.

but we can get our own decker and thomas in this draft.

He's not coming here. We are a team rebuilding again.

no, not really, we just need a QB for the future and a WR and some defensive pieces. Otherwise, yeah we're rebuilding.....like denver is.....8-8 on tebowmania who is about to be traded. whateva.

Denvers defense is solid, they have Wrs in place, offensive line is also solid with 0 holes unlike ours, and also made the playoffs last year with Tebow.

I don't know how you compare them to our team...but I don't think Manning is worried about our next QB, he is worried about coming into a situation where our best WRs are going to be drafted this year. Not a great selling point.

But whateva....:rolleyes2:

What ticks me off is Schefter's reporting that the Miami media "scared him off". Everywhere he goes, I'm seeing him disembark a plane, or getting into an SUV, or even watching his plane take off from a chase plane. Give me a break Schefter. I'd like to punch you in the nose!

19th ranked defense...not the worst D out there, but not solid either!

And who are their receivers? Can you name one? None of them will put fear into defenses. Hell ours won't either, but they're not much better. The Broncos were more of a run first team with Tebow/McGahee. Not one receiver on that team managed 700 yards for the season.

Their OL is not that great either. Last season they gave up the 9th most amount of sacks in the league. They could sorely use depth.

Above all, I still doubt Manning is going to Denver to play in the cold weather, high altitude of Mile High. If he's smart, he'll avoid Denver especially if he wants to play 2-3+ years more.

if Im Miami at this point, I'd have to tell Manning; "thats all well and good, but we still have to do what we gotta do..."

imo we have guys here that are wearing miami colors but are really bronco fans .

Wouldn't it be ****ing classic if he signed with someone not even in the running! I would actually love that solely from the standpoint that finally every single douche bag in the media would be left with egg on their face for once.

Like what happened with Nnamdi Asomugha last year, when NO ONE saw Philadelphia coming.

I don't think he will go to Denver, but Demarius Williams and Decker are both better that what we have. They also had Tebow throwing so I would say that puts them at a disadvantage.

There o-line is also better, and unlike ours doesn't have holes. Again Tebow didn't help

Their Defense is more than solid, and if you don't know that from watching last season I would say you don't knwo the Broncos team very well. They were more than above avg esp at the end of the season.

Hardly, bud. I guess that could be the case, actually, but it sure isn't with me. It's just that I am able to be objective when it comes to my favorite team-something 96% of the people on here really struggle with. It is possible to be a fan and still remain unbiased and able to see **** when it is as clear as day.
