ugh...

anyways...if the 9ers get peyton manning that team is downright lethal...how could they not be one of the 2-3 favorites to win it all in that scenario...
 
This looks like a good fit on paper, but I think there are two things here that could muck it up.
1.) Harbaugh seems to be a little bit of a control freak offensively and I'm not sure he'll let Peyton do his thing.
2.) I think Harbaugh thinks he can make a QB out of someone like Alex Smith or Colin Kaepernick like he did with Luck (who was a three star recruit coming out of high school, I believe). Say what you want about Luck's talent and ability (and I agree), but I'm not sure he develops into what he is now without Harbaugh's coaching.
 
Manning going to the 49ers would be the best thing to happen to the Dolphins. That would free up Alex Smith for the taking.
 
In 2005 I thought Alex Smith was going to be our franchise QB for years to come. I expected the 9rs to pass on him and he would fall to us.

I always had a chip on my shoulder against Ronnie Brown over that draft.

It didn't look like it for a long time but right now it is being borne out that Smith would have been the better pick. rb is basically out of the league while Smith has some good solid years ahead.

The Dolphins should position themselves for a rebound with Smith or Matt Hasselbeck "just... in... case..." IMO.
 
hey lets get another team in the running!!! we want this crap to continue until we get flynn anderson and winston!
 
I hope he ends up in San Fran and we roll into candlestick and whip his a** next year!!!!
 
and if you care what schefter has to say,he says that the 49ers are somewhat of a long shot which makes no sense at all.
