Yahoo's Jason Cole reports free agent Mario Manningham will visit the Rams Thursday night.

Manningham left 49ers headquarters without a contract late Thursday afternoon. Although he has visits scheduled with the Dolphins and Bills, the Rams appear to have line-jumped to get his attention. With four teams interested, Manningham still has a chance to hit $7 million annually in the second run of receiver signings.

Good, I want no part of this guy at the price he's looking for.

if he's looking for 7 mill then let him go....we'll draft a WR

Ozzy rules!!

Yeah, too much for too little.

Our front office has put us in this situation and unless we draft some receivers, we will probably end up over-paying some 2nd tier receiver top tier money like, oh I don't know, Laurent Robinson or some other scrub I want no part of.

The only way this off-season could get any worse is if Manning signs with the Broncos and then we waste draft picks trading for Teblow.

That would be a nightmare situation and the end of my fandom until Tebow and this front office are gone.

reading between the lines, people close to Manningham were convinced he was going to get a big deal from the Bucs but they signed Vincent Jackson. It really sounds like that unless he's offered a huge deal, he'd prefer to sign with either us or SanFran.

It's not your money the Fins are spending...it's MR. BILLIONAIRE ROSS' dead presidents...who cares...let's get some real football players in here that we can at the very least identify with. The last few signings were practice squad players or special teams guys...how about getting some that can actuall start right away...that's what I am talking about!

No way Id sign him for 7m. He had a big superbowl...cool story. He had 523 receiving yards last year...that is less than Brian Hartline. And he actually had a legitimate QB throwing him the ball

If he is willing to be paid like a # 3 WR fine.

NO WAY pay him #1 money...

I'd be fine if he signs with St. Louis. He's overhyped. He was a #3 for a reason and the guy has left Eli Manning out to dry on more than one occasion with his route running.
