I dont know. I wouldn't mind him if we dont overpay. He had that great Super Bowl catch be he's inconsistent. I could live with a combination of Manningham/Robinson/Rookie.

So we trade one of the best wide receivers in the league, and we are replacing him with a slot receiver. Sounds like Jeff Ireland.

Getting both wouldn't be a bad thing. The thing that would scare me there would be then we wouldn't draft some receivers in a really deep draft of receivers. Plus we'd have 5 number 2 and 3 receivers which I guess may work in our new system. I didn't Mario was a crisp route runner. Robinson fits that mold a do Bess and Hartlinewhich I think we let them do well in our new O

Normally I'd agree, and say poo poo. But if we can work out a deal with him that's reasonable...why not? Beggars can't be choosers and right now we are DISMAL in the WR posiston. To shrug off a chance at signing Manningham is plain stupid until numbers have been discussed.

Therefore, I'm glad we're meeting with him.

Receiving corps by committee. Interest in Manningham and Robinson stresses this aspect to Philbin's offense. Like I've said before, we are ridding of the guys that are "me me me me me" and getting guys that have no problem contributing.

Manningham was a #3 in New York because he was playing with two great receiving talents in Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz. I would welcome Manningham.
