Manning's visit to Broncos is over

Whatever!

12:49 p.m.
(MT): Mason reports: “Manning holds the cards & he’ll do due diligence, so don’t expect a resolution today. But Denver offers a combo others can’t match: cap room even after Manning gets his money, defensive play-makers, a like-minded leader in the front office, young WR’s with potential and a player-friendly coach with a winning playoff record. ”

I'm just glad he's out of that city. I hope he never goes back, unless he's with the Phins playing them.

If true and Peyton Manning has left Denver without signing than this is a GREAT sign!!

So I wonder if he still plans on meeting with Arizona.

And a horrible division to compete in.

Well, he's heading back to Miami. I wonder if he meets with Miami while he's down there, or he takes a trip to AZ later tonight/tomorrow and then makes Miami his last visit. He gave himself a prompt deadline, and really could drag this out with the 3 teams until the end of the week. Say he takes a day off, that means he meets with Arizona one day, Miami one day, and decides right after the 3 meetings. Very tight window imo.

Hopefully he signs with us before "meeting" with AZ. If he flies anywhere AFTER meeting with us than that would be the time to start worrying IMO...

Peyton Manning - QB - Colts

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins would like to see Peyton Manning throw before offering him a contract, "but it’s unclear how much they would press the issue" if Manning refuses to throw for any team.

With owner Stephen Ross' desperation to sign Manning an open secret, it's unlikely the Dolphins would require him to throw if he doesn't for any other clubs. Along with Denver and Arizona, the Dolphins are one of three clubs Manning is expected to visit, but there's still time for other teams to get involved ahead of his supposed Tuesday deadline to find a new home.

I was starting to stress-out that the Phins might not even get their shot. In one day the Phins can erase the last decade of irrelevance in the minds of the fanbase. Ross & Ireland better understand that if they don't get him, they're going to lose an entier generation of the fans for good. They're 0-2 in getting big-time coaches. If they go 0-3 the franchise is virtually doomed. No ammount of minor-leaguge baseball side-show shenanagans is going to get butts in the seats.

Denver has garbage receivers. Thats not a very attractive option for Manning. Hes meeting with Miami last and we'll see what happens than. Seriously, Miami knows he will meet with them. Hes taking a damn plane back to Miami right now. Do the doom and gloomers really think that hes just going to use Miami as his hub city and visit all these other teams without checking out the team down the street. Personally, I wouldnt be surprised if hes already pretty much decided wheres hes going. .
