manny lawson or ernie sims the answer?

we just signed will allen (4yrs 12mil $) and justin peele (don't know contract details) and i don't know how much salary cap capacity we still have to sign fa's and draft picks so i think if we don't get arrington or peterson (cross your fingers that one of them will be a dolphin) is it possible we trade down our #16 1st round pick to get a mid 20's 1st and a 2nd/3rd round pick for it and can still get a guy like manny lawson or ernie sims? could one of them be the answer as lb? both are similar athletic, very fast, can cover just like peterson...

I think Manny more than Ernie because of his versatility. Manny can play DE in a 4-3 (although some would say he's undersized for that ala Jason Taylor) and OLB in a 3-4. Ernie is probably best suited for the 4-3 OLB and could be a lot like Derrick Brooks.
