Breaking news on ESPN. Manny Ramirez will be suspended for 50 games for steroid use. This is no suprise to me, and to think the Dodgers paid the guy 20 million dollars and he is going to 1/3 of the season
 
God this sucks as a Dodger fan. Such a great start. Why is he suspended yet A-Rod et al are allowed to play?

Let's just face it. Any slugger worth a crap was on something.

I don't think the Dodgers have to pay him while he is out.
 
Boras is saying it wasn't steroids, but a prescribed drug; other reports also saying it wasn't steriods, but another banned PED
 
the question is who is next on the list, pujols?
 
Manny Ramirez Statement

"Recently I saw a physician for a personal health issue. He gave me a medication, not a steroid, which he thought was okay to give me. Unfortunately, the medication was banned under our drug policy. Under the policy that mistake is now my responsibility.​

I have been advised not to say anything more for now. I do want to say one other thing; I've taken and passed about 15 drug tests over the past five seasons.

"I want to apologize to Mr. McCourt, Mrs. McCourt, Mr. Torre, my teammates, the Dodger organization, and to the Dodger fans. LA is a special place to me and I know everybody is disappointed. So am I. I'm sorry about this whole situation."

No i hope not Pujols. He has been consistent so he would have to be using it since the start. I think Pujols is the star of the MLB and it would be terrible if he did even though i think he definetly does not i could be wrong.

It's a drug used when stopping a cycle of roids. When you are using, your body stops it's own production of test. When you stop a cycle if you don't use this drug you're going to have all kinds of problems.
