Manny Wright update

Lost.....

Might as well forget about Manny....Not mature enough to handle the Pressure of Training Camp...Let alone the NFL...
 
You shouldn't judge him with out knowing the full story. It just says "personal issues." It could be any number of things. Don't rip on him when you can only speculate.
 
I can't imagine him making the active roster this year. He was a Supplemental 5th round pick last year, and is in no way guaranteed a roster spot this year. For him to take a leave of absence during trainig camp,during his second season, when his conditioning has come into question anyway, he's taking a huge chance, and barring some sort of emergency at home, risks being the next player cut. IMHO.
 
You know, I hope all of you are man enough to swallow crow when we all find out he was out of practice for a good reason.

If he was out of practice for a good reason, why would Nick Saban be so incredibly ticked at him? When asked about him, he flip-flopped between "personal issues" and "doctors made a decision" and then the next time someone asked about him, all he did was give an evil glare.

My question: Where are all the so called "sports reporters" in the Greater Miami area, both TV & papers? Here is a story that needs to be tracked/investigated and not a whisper from the media other than reporting what is fed to them

It could be out of respect for the situation. The more negative press Manny gets, the worse he seems to get. It's quite possible he has social anxiety issues like Ricky did. Miami reporters still are not that far removed from having seen Demitrius Underwood try to kill himself under the strain.

OK, Dr Phil, in the world of big business how long do you float somebody because of potential? They went through this BS last year.

I agree, I think Manny has some mental complications that affect his life. This explains his countless scenarios since being picked as well as his problem with schoolwork while at USC (which caused his suppl. draft entry).

Last year was clearly seen as a throw away year for Manny by the coaching staff. He was a sophomore picked in the supplemental draft.
