Anyone see PTI on ESPN today ?? Manny was a topic for discussion.
Tony said he feels bad for Manny cuz he's a 21 yr. old rookie, and that Saban will learn more about the media from this. Michael Wilbon went on to say that, everyone is going to be following this kid now, and he wouldn't be suprised if this kid turns out to be great. Also said that maybe this whole ordeal isnt a bad thing for Manny.

I like this whole situation.
It's bringin more attention to the team and it doesnt involve Ricky. We're the Talk of the NFL for the moment, I believe.
Also, it's Saban making an example. No slacking.
And finally, Manny Wright is a supreme specimen, who doesn't want to go down as they kid who cried his first week of training camp.
 
I think the whole Manny thing is overrated. This is a guy who is entering a very different part of his life -- just signed a contracgt...he has a lot of money, he's in a foreign place, he's in a foreign situation with people he doesn't know yet, it's a physical, fast moving environment and he's still adjusting.

A lot of scrooges I've seen have come with this 'a man shouldn't cry' attitude, but I'd like to see Manny sit on you and see if you keep dry eyes!! >:D
 
lol, on sportscenter they said he was 290 lbs. i thought he was heavier than that he is as tall as JT right ??

The story was just on MSNBC, is it that much of a news story.............
