Manny Wright is not going to be the starting Nose Tackle for Miami. It's not a fit for his body type, or his talents. He might end up playing over Center on passing downs, or might end up there due to injury concerns, but that's not going to be his position.
He's too tall and too light. You generally want a NT to be shorter for leverage purposes, and heavier to hold the line. There are taller NTs, but generally they are huge... For example, Ted Washington is 6'5" but is 360 pounds. Terdell Sands is 6'7" but 340 pounds(And sucks). There are Nose Tackles who are around 315 pounds, but generally they are relegated to passing downs only, or are shorter and squatter.
Wright is a DT/DE. He's going to play the same kind of role as Kevin Carter and Vonnie Holiday. In the 4-3, either he'll be the Closed Defensive End(Lined up over Tackle, which Kevin Carter usually is), or the Under Tackle(Lined up on the outside shoulder of the Guard, where Vonnie Holiday usually is). In the 3-4, he'll be lined up on tackle. And like those two, on passing downs, they will line up as Defensive Tackles or Nose Tackle, whatever the case may be.
