Hello,

I have many names I like and here his my list :

QB : Flynn obviously, but if we can't get him I am all for wait 1 more year to pick barkley or Landry Jones at any cost next year, and in this case for 1 year stopgap with matt Moore I like david Carr , Drew Stanton, and why not..........Brady Quinn (nothing to loose with them and they will be cheap).

RB : I would like to see another year of Stanton (perhaps in place of lex Hilliard)

WR : Dwayne Bowe, and if we must choose only one player to upgrade Moore/Wallace, I would pick Mark Clayton or Patrick Crayton

TE : Finley, John Carlson or for 1 year stopgap Schokey

OL : Nicks, Grubbs or Zuttah

DL or LB ( if we go 4-3) : Mario Williams and Broderick Bunkley and in LB Mc Intosh, Morrisson, Poppinga, Gooden and last year we should have kept Dobbins for ILB depht....so dobbins

CB : Truffant is my choice and behind him Kelly Jennings and phillip buchanon ( nostaligic here)

SAFETIE : Laron Landry, Deon Grant, Atari Bigby and Paul Oliver

Opinions guys !

If we weren't bad enough to get in the top 5 this year I don't see it happening next year so getting Barkley is out of the question and Jones needs to take some serious steps forward before hes worth a top 10 pick. I dont think we have the QB for Dwanye Bowe, he seems to be all about the long ball which Moore struggles to throw consistantly. I heard Meachem is a free agent and if so I'd rather take him if we dont use our first pick on WR. Finley will probably be tagged by the Packers, although people are saying theyve heard GB won't, but regardless I'd rather have Fleener if we can get him in the second round. I'm with you on Truffant at CB though, from the limited tape I've seen I like his game.

Meacham is way more about the long ball than Bowe, imo. I'd rather have Meachem, though. Way less money and I think we need a speed guy opposite Marshall rather than another guy similar to Marshall. Besides, I doubt Moore is the QB going into the season anyway.

I think we'll be able to get Flynn if we want him, and I also like your options at TE there. It would be nice to actually have a receiving threat play that position for us.

I'll be honest, a few guys you mentioned on that list are just awful, old, beaten down by time, and just can't play.

I like some of the others though.

At QB of those listed I prefer Stanton or Quinn to Carr.

At RB you said Stanton, did you mean Slaton?

At WR, we don't have the cap room to sign Bowe. A guy like Garcon, Robinson, Meacham, Eddie Royal, or the other two you mentioned are more likely.

Finley is getting tagged or signed, you can take him off the list. I like the Carlson idea, Martellus Bennett at a #2 TE might be an upgrade over the guys we have as well, if he can be motivated to play.

I like the OL candidates, but would also like to see us go after a legit T if we aren't going to pursue one in the draft. Gaither would be my preference there.

Honestly, the only linebacker I see listed that I think we would ever sign is McIntosh, and that's only if we go to a 4-3, which at this point I feel certain we don't do. I prefer guys like Ahmad Brooks, Manny Lawson, Kroy Biermann, or Anthony Spencer at OLB. Williams is likely to be too expensive for us, and Bunkley unfortunately cannot generate any pass rush, so he's not really a player we would want.

Trufant is pretty much done at this point. Injuries have slowed him way down, and he's not worth signing. Kelly Jennings is also not very good. Buchanon is not only a mediocre player, but was suspended by his team for 4 games, then went on IR afterword. Not a player we want to touch with a ten foot pole. If we want a CB, in my opinion it would be a guy who can play the slot. With that in mind, my targets would be Porter, Thomas, or Middleton. Those are the types of guys we might be able to afford, unless one of them gets overpaid.

I honestly think we need to cut Bell, and pick up two safeties. With that in mind, I like Landry. Grant is old, and never has been great in coverage, so no. same with Bigby. Oliver is worse than either of the other two, but he is younger. If we are going to look at a second safety, we need to look at FS types, so guys like Micheal Griffin, Goldson, or even a guy like Reggie Nelson. If we can't land Landry, I'd also be happy with Tyvon Branch, but both of them are better at SS than FS, so it's an either or type of thing.

A new coach's best friend is his QB (Flynn). A new QB's best friend is a great TE (Finley). And what do you know, they've all played together before.

For me, it's a no brainer who to get.

Then hit the draft hard with OG, RT, RB and backup QB. I believe we should continually invest heavily in the QB position EVERY 1 or 2 drafts. As I recall, it's worked out nicely for GB and NE.

If we don't get flynn or manning we are screwed because we won't do near enough bad to get close to the 1st rounder for barkley but maybe jones not that I see much n him.

You'd rather draft Fleener in the 2nd than to pick up Finley in FA?? Is that a joke? Do you understand what Finley would do for our offense?

Honestly, as much as I like Finley I think he may be a bit too expensive for us. Fleener has the talent to be an elite TE in this league and we can spend that money on a pass rusher, other WR or Oline. I am all for signing Flynn

It doesn't matter. The Packers aren't going to let Finley leave. They'll tag him if they don't work out a deal.

OL - Nicks or Grubbs (but prefer late rounders), WR= Wayne or Meachem, TE = Finley (longshot), but Carlson if we believe he is better that whats in the draft (but I prefer a drafted guy - LaDarius Green 6'6' TE)

All out for luck or it's Matt Moore for another year, but get him a RB or WR in the draft and i think we will be fine.
But as said in another post were not that bad enough to get a good QB in 2013 draft so what do we do in 2013 that is the question we should be asking ourself............

We have to be cautious with FA's. Other than retaining our own, I'm only really interested in (if he's cut) Manning or Flynn and Mario Williams.

Yea, Finley could definitely be expensive, but I don't think he gets tagged for the simple reason that the Packers have some solid TEs behind him. I saw someone say Finley wasn't very good since his knee injury, but the man put up the best numbers of his career this year. I would rather sign a sure thing at the TE position which we've lacked for years and use our 2nd rounder on a pass rusher/WR/QB. Fleener is good, don't get me wrong, but how much of it was Andrew Luck? If I had to take a TE out of this draft, I want the kid from Clemson.
