Henne is a better option than him are you kidding me.
Who would be a bettter option? and Why do you dislike him so much? I have to admit I havent watched him play A LOT, but most people in the NFL feel he is a good QB overall. They def dont dislkie him as much as you...lol :)

With the O-line he had in St.Louis and the beating he took...its hard to say HE is injury prone. He averaged 2.6 sacks a game through his career, that is a hell of a beating. And if you looks at the stats the majority of the stats came AFTER Holt and Bruce left. After that they had terrible WRs and I am sure that combined with the O-line didnt help.

I'd bring him in to compete, but I'd rather draft a QB in the first round if one falls to us.

Maybe not injury prone, but not very durable and I don't expect that to change with him being 34 when the season starts. I think he would be a good short term backup that can start if need be . . . but definitely doesn't solve any answers for this franchise at QB.

Just a band aid at best. His arm strength is not what it once was and the injuries had to have taken a toll on his body. Back up and nothing more at this point.

He's a viable option, better than most out there in FA, but would be better served as a backup.
But anybody saying he sux just isn't being real. The years directly after taking over for Warner he was playing smart and lighting up the passing game.
Though he may not be "that guy" anymore, he is still not going to lose games for you and is a good game manager.
I love too how fans of a team that had Marino want to go up in arms criticizing a guy for his lack of athleticism and moving around in the pocket. Cause yeah, obviously that would never work in a fins uniform. lol

Beggars cannot be choosers. The clear fact of the matter is that Bulger is our best alternative to Henne without utilizing a draft pick(s) (i.e., either picking a rookie in the first-round, or trading for Palmer). At worst, he would be a serviceable backup to Henne. I cannot confidently say the same about Thigpen or any rookie.

Yes. Extremely accurate when he has some protection. He's probably the smartest QB available. Throws very few picks. Baltimore loves him, and I trust most of what they say about personnel.

HELL NO! I have been saying for years that Bulger made the Rams suck! They got a freaking rookie last year and did better with him than Bulger. Bulger had been living on Stevens' back...riding that horse...for years. He sucks worse than Henne!!!

Context... That rookie was the #1 over-all pick and one of those rare beasts with the ability to come into the NFL already NFL ready. He very well could be a HOF'er some day.

Only if we draft a rookie who will eventually start, I have no problem as Bulger being the Veteran competition
