I know that we are not likely to draft him because we have other needs, but would Marcus McNeil be a stretch at 16? I would love to watch him blocking for Ronnie again. That would be insane...

I don't think he would be a reach. He's a monster and would start at LT for this team. With some good coaching he could be a good one. I think defense is a priority with the 1st round pick tho. Never know tho.

Based on talent alone he's not a reach. But some teams have taken him all the way down to round 3 on their boards because of his back issues...he may have a degenerative condition there.

Justice won't need to move to play RT, thats where he played at USC.

Justice should probably be a RT in the NFL too. I don't buy the argument that Justice was really the LT of the offense just playing on the right side because Leinart is a lefty. Defensive coaches don't generally designate strong side vs. weak side based on the Quarterback being a righty or lefty...and if I'm not mistaken the strong side of USC's formation was usually still on the right side.

now if he dropped to the 3rd rnd......

Exactly! He is definitely not going to be the BPA at #16, but he would be an incredible pick up in the 3rd!

We still have a major need on the OL...I'd love to see Winston Justice, Jon Scott, Marcus McNeil, or Max Jean-Gilles go to Miami at #16 if we don't move from that spot.

Signing LJ Shelton has not solidified our OL...its a start but in no way should we be finished upgrading the line.

I am really high on him... but he is a reach at 16...

If we can trade down in round one... like maybe with Denver... I wouldnt at all mind drafting him at 22...

I would love for us to grab Mcneil, having watched a lot of USC ball I think he has all the attributes to succed in the NFL. I don't see the Shelton signing as a reason not to draft him... LT's usually take a few years to mature in the NFL and become dominant players. I don't know if Shelton has ever played RT but I would like to move Carey to RG Shelton on the right and with time put McNeil on the left side. Just his size alone warrants we take a serious look at him. In the end unlike when wise was our Oline coach I have full confidence in Houck and he knows who he needs to draft and where to make them play he is one of the greatest minds to ever coach at that position.

i think it would be better to draft a linebacker in the first, GREENWAY OR LAWSON, and then take a OT in the second round. Both would be definate starters by 2007. I think the draft is working alot in our favor with these two positions we need being deep in the draft...OR SABAN IS WORKING THE WHOLE NFL PERFECTLY.. he is a machine
