I dont know if it has been posted, but Marcus said that the only QB who was at the draft which is better than him was Vince Young, he (Marcus) proclaims himself as the second best QB in the past draft, and that if it wouldn't have been because of his past problems and character issues, he would have been drafted in the first round definitely...

Which is why he got demoted to WR in rookie camp after getting beat out at QB by another undrafted QB. :rolleyes2

If you're going to speak of potential then it's possible he could end up better than Harrington.

He won't be this year if that's what you are asking, no chance at all.

It's hard for any rookie QB coming into the NFL to learn the speed of the game, timing differences and more complicated offenses in the NFL. It will be drastically more difficult for Vick since he's overcoming such scrutiny, left school early and missed vital experience and especially since he played in a dumbed down system for him at VT.

He could turn out to be good in time though.
Personally, I don't see it but it's possible.

This is all assuming he can stay out of trouble.
Dosen't bode well for him that he got demoted to WR in rookie camp either.....

The kid should play in Buffalo because he is easily the best QB down there...

Despite, he will be crushed by Jason Taylor many times and will be injury prone due to that, he also doesn't have great WR's to pass them the ball, but he could also play as WR...
 
what's it gonna take for some of you to realize that markus vick is an idiot, and has no business being on this roster...saban is a great coach, but he's not the Messiah - he can't save vick. we all love the fish, but putting on a dolphin uniform won't magically transform this goofball into a football player. takes more than talent to make a difference as a football player - ryan leaf, heath shuler, lawrence phillips, the list is endless - they all had talent. just because you have talent, doesn't mean you're worthy. you should expect more....
