Which would you rather have
Olindo Mare
Matt Bryant (K for Dolphins; cut in 2004) kicked a 62 yard field goal for the Bucs in 2006
Ola Kimrin (K for Dolphins; cut in 2006) kicked a successful 65 yard field goal for the Broncos in the preseason on 2002

I don't care as long as they're cheaper and younger than Mare. If our offense can put it together we won't have to rely on our kickers so much. However, if we still look like a pop warner team, then we should get a clutch kicker cause we need those FGs.

Bryant would have been nice, about a million bucks cheaper than Olindo and at least as effective.

CK i enjoy your articles as far as olindo goes i used to love the guy but as of late he seems to miss all the clutch kicks. (opinions)

Out of those 3 . . . I'll take OLindo . . . tho Bryant was clutch with that kick and if u factor in salary is the better option, but I think Olindo is the best kicker out of the 3. Hope he breaks out of his funk sooner than later.

Its sad because up until last year he was #2 on the all-time kicking percentage list behind Mike Vanderjagt. Its funny how quick kickers fall out of grace. They are the closers of the NFL, no one remembers the one's you successfully convert, only the one's you blow.

the best part about it is that when he gets cut by Miami and signed to another team, he will dominate. It is the cycle of kicking. Well until the Gramaticas screwed that up

lets score touchdowns and go for two

I believe with Mare's contract, we're stuck with him for a few more years unless we'll take a huge cap hit.

Hopefully, he will restructure next year.
