Despite his uncertain status, kicker Olindo Mare is expected to report to the Dolphins' headquarters Monday for the first day of the offseason conditioning program.
The Dolphins, who recently signed former New York Giants kicker Jay Feely to replace Mare, have been trying to trade their all-time scoring leader for the past two weeks rather than release him for no compensation.
The New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Giants have shown interest in Mare, 33, but seem unwilling to give the Dolphins a draft pick for a player who already has been replaced.
