Someone mentioned this in another thread. How great would that be? I honestly think that would be a GREAT move on the part of the Dolphins. Patch up the somewhat dicey ending of Marino's era... I just didn't get a feeling of finality out of that. Give Marino another chance at his ring... even if not at QB. And on top of it all, I think he could be a GREAT coach... he has Shula as his mentor... I'm sure he picked up lots of things from him. The more I think about it, the more I begin to think he's a perfect fit for what we need. He would bring INTEGRITY, PASSION, LEADERSHIP. Maybe it's just too much of a cinderella story, but how great would it be for Marino to come back as coach and win it all? Is it even a remote possibility... what do you think?
 
Not head coach.. Start him out as QB's coach... then let him move his way up.
 
He said he has no interest beyond a few games. Said it wouldn't be fun anymore.
