Marino: Henne has talent to be a good NFL QB

what dan should have said is this:

Dan Henning really set this offense and chad henne back a few steps.

Yeah, I know.. I was being a little harsh!! I just cant stand Henne!! He is a freakin looooooser QB that doesnt have the smarts or ability to lead my beloved Dolphins and its soooo obvious for me to see that we're doomed until we replace him, Sparano and Ireland with someone that knows what the F they're doing..

I dont know, I guess my point is it really pizzes me off to see the organization, the fans and now Marino sending praise his way..

We all know Henne has the talent, but does he have the mental makeup to succeed?

I'm afraid Dan Marino, nor anybody else but Henne can answer that question...and it is answered by what he does on the field.
 
Philip Rivers has never sniffed the super bowl. it begs the question does a great QB mean everything in the end? It has been proven otherwise.

Whats more important to me is that henne gets weapons around him with a proactive OC who devises new offense that enables wins instead of crawls.
 
I think this new offense suites Henne much better. I think he will be much improved this season.
Once he gets his timing down with Gates, he could really surprise in a good way.
Marino will always give the politically correct comment. At least he is not squeaking like rat fink Golic and Dukes.
There is a little bit of optimism there.

I'm glad Dan the man is behind our QB. Unlike most of the Henne Haters Marino has actually played the game. Dan knows Henne needed more help than just Marshall.He already has the talent noone can say homie doesn't have a arm. Its all about him growing as a player. Henne is not the one to blame for the bad seasons. A big part of it? Yes but don't act like QB is the ONLY position we needed to address. Get Real. Oline has been shady. Running backs weren't explosive anymore. Receivers were average at best. Coaching wasn't that great. How can anyone single this guy out and say he is the cause for all our problems! When was the last time a young QB took over a below average team and did something special? Don't worry ill wait.....

wow this is a typical shortsighted dolphins fan, beck could be a top 5 qb yet we were right to release him?? I don't believe beck can be a top 5 qb but if he becomes one we were most certainly wrong to release him, qb's need to be developed, not every quarterback is dan marino, sorry
