my dad, who was a Dolphins fan from the very beginning, always regretted the loss of Csonka, Warfield and Kiick over Marino's retirement. i agree with that sentiment.

I was around in the Csonka, Warfield, Kick era and although I love them not near as much as Marinio because those players weren't Dolphins their whole carriers by their own choices, matter of fact they dumped the Dolphins.

As a Dolfan, nothing tops when Don Shula retired. I cried a little that day. I literally grew up watching him every single Sunday/Monday. Such a huge Icon to me. Marino is the second one on my list.
