Marino on Lemon

Danny just buzzed in on a Rivers/Brees debate to mention Lemon.

He said he wanted to point out the Lemon part of the trade because he thinks a lot of people overlooked him... and he thinks he could end up getting some starts later in the season when he learns the offense.

Exactly -- how Lemon plays the last few games (assuming we're not in the playoff race) will determine how much of a priority the QB position is in the offseason. The front office needs to know that before the end of the season.

Frankly, I'd like to see about 3 lineman drafted next year. We need to get this problem solved once and for all. We're not going anywhere until we get rid of Swiss Cheese OLineman.

We should get some talent next year. Got cap room, plus Saban knows Houck won't stay around forever if he's not going to get any help. This type of move keeps 2 coaches happy at once (HH and Leinhan) and helps the team. Secondary of course will need help too.

Really? Why? I bet you've never even watched him play before. You cant base it on his playing because he played great in the preseason. Nonetheless, enlighten us. Let us in on your expert analysis.

Its like someone posted yesterday( Its already halfway through the season. Lemon don't know the playbook Sage deserves a chance and only if Sage and Gus is both injured will lemon do anything besides hold the perverbial clipboard) I put it a little differant way but it's the truth. Sorry lemon fans.
