I had this really wild dream the other night, you know, the kind where you
wake up and wonder if it was real or not.The dream was I was watching
the start of the Miami football season, and Dan had come out of retirement for
one more year..It was great.
I know,I know its silly..its just my love for the Dolphins and probaly me
not being able to let go of the past. But it got me thinking, what old time Dolphin fans,a year or two after Dan 's retirement, wouldn't give anything
to see him come out of retirement ,healthy, for just one more year.
My dream season would be for him to QB the 2002 team, the one which
Ricky won the rushing title and JT won the sack title. And to top it off,
because of (slight)storm damage to Pro Player Stadium, the season had to be
played at the Orange Bowl.
Just wondering if any other older Dolfans had any wierd feelings like this?

wish marino would come back lol...miss watching him play

nah, I prefer to remember Dan as he was.

Seeing him come back now would spoil all those memories.

I agree. Dan Marino will always be etched in my head. I choose to keep it upstairs in my brain.

The video collection downstairs in the basement is great too!

I really feel bad for the youngsters that did not get to watch him work.

He was well you know...............

true, plus he would have no shot with our O-line now...just wish he didn't have to finish on such a sour note (playoff game in JAC)...but, it really doesn't matter in the end...stats speak for themselves

I only saw three Marino games live. My first game in the stadium, his last at home, and the two playoff games. I have watched a lot of film on him. Almost every game. How I wish I had been born 20 years before to see him play in the 1980's.

.......a pretty damn good Quarterback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well he's not that much older than Trent Green is he?

You have to wonder what shape his arm is in. I wonder if he could still make some of those throws?

I had that dream of him coming back for about five years after he retired:)

He should come back to protect his TD record. Farve is only here to break it any way, I see no harm in that.

Fast forward to 2 minutes in the video, yeah, he can still throw.
