Marino Picked the Bengals :(

There's nothing that Marino does that surprises me any longer.

well

No. I don't "guarantee" anything, but I do think that Cincy will win. I just don't think Miami has the talent on offense to win this game.
well, I know the Bengals are better knaw tham in the past years, but we still have a good defense, and also you have Chad and Peter, but we have Chambers, Booker and Randy (they are very good players) you have Rudi and very good prospect of QB, but still he is a R, (well I know he has a yera but last game was his 1° st) and you couldn´t tell if AJ Feely is a bad QB, and also you couldn´t tell about Grodon,

I think this will be a good game, but I think the Dolphins could win becouse the defesne (Miami know how to play to R) and becouse we have a good recibers,
you don´t have defense.....

Go Fins, Go fins, Go fins :)

And to Bengals good loke but not in this game....

Nobody knows our little secret - AJ feely. I heard Troy Aikman this afternoon on the radio and he was belting out the same mantra about "neither of the Dolphins QB's stepping up". Now you and I (and all the fans who've watched the games - first game and preseson games included) know the difference. Give Feely back two penalty calls and he's got two touchdowns to his stats and about a hundred yards more. The guy can throw it and there's no comparison with Fiedler. We have our QB. I don't think Marino has had time to watch any of Miami's games. Neither has the rest of the media (remember, our first game was not nationally televised and so most media types just saw the clip of AJ throwing the INt). This Sundiay night will change all of that. Everyone will see the kid's arm and release and from here on out, they'll know this is AJ's team.

We have won championships and you have....well, not.
We have won AFC Championships also.

PS: Don't even think about mentioning the Super Bowl wins. Nixon isn't President anymore and Griese (the good one) isn't your QB.

Nice franchise!!! The Bengals have been the laughing stock of the NFL for so many years now. I'm 28, and I never remember them being any good. The Boomer days are long, loooooong gone.

Bengal fans talking trash. Heh. :D

Arizona and New Orleans are the worst franchises of the last decade, not the Bengals.
I'd put Arizona and the Bengals in a dead heat. New Orleans has at least been respectable at times and sniffed a playoff spot.

:cooldude: Yeah, Danny picked the Bungles to win, he just followed the Vegas line on most of "his" picks, EXCEPT the Indy game.

ONLY Bob Costas picked the Phins, the OTHER three went with Cinci. Bob is the ONLY one to pick Pittsburgh over Baltimore, as well as SanDiego over NY.

The only game that "split the pack" is the Monday Minn @ Phil game ! ! ! :shakeno:

lol... let me see the most pathetic franchise the last decade .... drum roll... the bungals .. congrats ... go win a championsip or buy defense or better yet win a game before coming over here
So go ahead and tell us what you have won lately? This is not the old Phins we are talking about here, all i see is a Bengals team on the rise and a Phins team in limbo. But a whole bunch of Phin fans are just saying," Oh we are the Dolphins, what have you won, at least we won something". I know that your faithful to your team, every fan should be, but before you go off saying that every other team sucks, you should look in the mirror.

You think Jets fans would be sympathetic to a team that loses their key player on offense. I guess we could be doomed since the Jets did what exactly what when Pennington went down last year?

I am so tired of hearing how we won Championships.

C'mon - there's a lot of you here that weren't even born the last time the Fins won the Super Bowl. In fact, Cincinnatti was in a SB more recent than the Fins.

Go ahead and talk up some of our other attributes - but calling out SB's from a long, long time ago - is getting lame.

Marino Picks Cincy

So what if he picks Cincy. Like he`s supposed to pick Miami 16 times this season? Based on last weeks performance, I`d pick Cincy too....and that`s just what Dan did. We`ll see what we`re made of Sunday night. I can`t remember the last time a Week 2 game meant so much to the Dolphins.

Because Marino has a football-thinking brain. Remember, he won last year as to most correct picks on the show.

It's great that Bengal's fans have reason to come out from under their rocks nowadays so I can't really blame them for their over-excitement. But I will go out on a limb and say neither of these teams are going to be SB contenders this year much less AFC contenders.

Why would you say that, because we lost Ganja Boy? Last year if Fiedler does not go down, or Griese play a little more consistent, we win at least 11 games, with Ganja boy running for 3.5 a carry, and only having one receiver to count on.

This year we have another receiver to compliment Chambers, more depth at LB, DB, and our O-line is younger (But better), so rather then get more worn out as the season goes on, they will just get better. You can say that us losing Ogun will hurt us, but I think that even though David Bowens/Jay Williams will not have as many sacks as OGun, they will also make it tough on defenses not to keep them in their plans (These guys are no slouches), and because of Jason, they will get many chances (They should combine for 8-10 sacks).

Until we see how good Feeley and Gordon are, we do not know what kind of a season we will have. They do not have to be great, if Feeley can complete 58% of his passes for 150 or more (With a few shots deep...that is very important), with no big mistakes, and Gordon can average 3.7 or better for us, with the defense we have, this would be enough for us to have a competitive season...they do better then that, and this team all of a sudden becomes a team to watch.

We need to stop underestimating this team, don't forget that 3 years ago, a player by the name of Brady was not thought of more then a decent backup...it that, and the Patriots were not thought of as that great a team (Some talent, could do a little damage, but nothing great). Many that know Offense, have already gone on record, and said that Feeley is a good QB, why don't we actually watch him at least start one game, and see if there is any truth to this, before continuing predicting how short we will come to our goal this year.

Who really cares about the last decade, anyway. The 1990's are over. This is not the same old "Bungals", this is the new Bengals and we are going all the way this year.

And this is not the NY J.E.T.S. Suck Suck Suck team ...You will understand the difference on Sunday...Our D is comming all out especially now after Johnson spilled his mouth.... I say you won't score one TD, perhaps 2 FG is all maybe 3 if you're offense is helped out by the pethetic Ref's ..Miami kicks BUNGLES ARSE
27-6
