he threw yesterday. didnt do so well.

edit: actually, I guess he really threw back in May. What we saw yesterday and today was taped on 5-13-05.

so who won that thing?

Last I checked.....Roethlisberger was in the lead

Roth had tied with Delhomme for the lead after the first day...Delhomme won the whole thing though. He really was awesome.

IMO Byron Leftwich showed that he had the best arm out there...maybe Carson Palmer could challenge him but he's more scattershot. But Lord Byron also showed he's not fast AT ALL, and prone to mistakes, not that great of an attitude. Carson had great attitude, awesome arm, but man was he scatter shot at times. Rothlesberger was just steady throughout. Master or nothing, but didn't make big mistakes on anything either. Brees actually threw the ball 67 yards in the long ball competition which was better than Hasselbeck, Harrington, and Rothlesberger. Delhomme is like a 70 yard thrower, but Leftwich and Palmer are like 75 yard throwers.

BTW Torry Holt is insane. He had two incredible one-handed catches that were totally Gadsden-esque.

it's over as far as I know there won't be any repeats

Theres no way Brees can chuck the ball farther then "Big" Ben.

apparently... he can;)

Roethlisberger is the most overrated QB in the league. Dilfer-esque IMO.

he went 15-1 as a rookie I get what your saying about how he was on a good team and didn't put up huge numbers but he did enough to help win games and the most important part is that he didn't lose games for them like he did vs. the Pats

Big Ben Dilfer-esque??? That's pure insanity. Don 't think Dilfer ever won 15 straight games in which he was learning the offense on the fly and making big play after big play. Yes big Ben handed the ball off a lot but when they needed him to make plays he did- see Dallas and New York games. Big Ben is a much better athlete, has a better and more accurate arm, and is much more of a leader than Dilfer ever was or could be. Comparing Ben to Dilfer is like comparing Marino to Testaverde. But everyone's entitled to their opinion.
