He was the best of alltime avoiding the rush and had the best movement inside the pocket I have seen.

Definitely. I always called Danny the king of the sidestep. He could make guys whiff in the pocket with just one step. His footwork was amazing.

It doesn't surprise me in the least. As I pointed out in a previous post Dan ranks tops among sacks. His release was so quick defenders couldn't bring him down with the ball. There is more than one way to skin a cat or Bruce Smith, Reggie White or Derrick Thomas! Here is the career sack totals from some notable greats at QB;

I believe Doug Williams has the record for most pass attempts per sack in his career, but Dan Marino is *just* behind him. Ultra quick release and a great feel for the step-up and side-step...those are some of the things that made him great.
I love that Dan is not the list and Elway is not. To be honest, it is a bit questionable that he is on it. Most Elusive of all time, yes. One the most mobile? Probably not.

How is Vick not #1 on that list????
They are comparing Quarterbacks with talent not thugs with talent. If it was most elusive thug with skill, Vick would be on the list! Ha!
