And this is the real risk. That someone decides that the latest INT is one too many and everything we've hoped for gets scratched.

If they're moving forward with a passing oriented team, they better be ready to take some lumps.

I don't think he meant just throw it where ever. He means Henning, Lee overcoached him and he always played so tense. Let if fly young fella.
 
Right, when you play loose it just comes automatically. Playing rigid like he did in the past led to mistakes. Dan just meant, don't overthink it and it will come naturally.
 
Nobody wants Henne to just go out and throw any pass he feels BUT he has to loosen up. Otherwise he is going to over think every single pass he throws. Dan the man was the best at getting a feel of the game. Also made some very gutsy throws in his time. Henne has to start having fun out there. He is going to throw picks and we all know that. As fans we cant chew the guy apart after every one. But if Marino himself thinks Chad needs to slang the rock more maybe just maybe Marino knows what he is talking about. Im with it throw that sh** Chad!

Those were the days when DBs were actually allowed to play some D.

If DBs got to play that way nowadays you'd see a lot of QBs like Brees or Rodgers or Brady having 17 INTs a year too.
