I was reading where Dan was giving it up to peyton about getting to the big game and at the end he said something about who would want a 45 year old qb! I say bring Dan back, even at 2 ..:tantrum: . I know hes glad to have those records but he wanted the ring more! I bet he could still play at 45 , what do you guys think? bash time.. remember my b day is jan 31 ,so b easy!

I don't think that Marino can come back, and I think he is too in love with his studio job to take a big office job with our team. For now, if you want your Marino, check out the youtube clip of him flipping out when he messes up during a telecast. Good stuff!
-Watching that, Im glad I wasnt a teammate of his that dropped one of his passes!

I think Dan is pretty happy with his life....and he doesn't need to brag that he was the best ever (because he knows it and so does everyone else).

?????

 I guess he was just thinking out loud when he said that! or maybe he does want another shot.. Im not saying hes not proven , I know hes the best qb to have ever played! I was sad to see him go, just not the same without him. that clip on youtube was funny, thats what our team needs .. a qb that will get in your face , if you mess up...

Well remember, Dan got to the big game too, if Peyton doesn't win it, the monkey will never be off his back either.

do you have a link?? i wanna see that

I think Marino will be happy for his friend Peyton.

We should bring him back and trade him for Peyton Manning and their 1st rounder.

Damn. Looking at Ginn's jersey in your sig, Ohio State sure has some big numbers on their jerseys. I bet people way up in the upper deck can see the #7 on his jersey.

No, he can't still play.

He was basically a statue in the pocket at the end of his career. His leg strength started to diminish greatly after the achillies injury, which in turn caused him to lose some zip on the ball towards the end. Even though he showed flashes of brilliance at times, he was not the same QB he was a decade earlier, and although people are quick to blame JJ for putting the shackles on him, truth is he was an aging QB with diminishing skills.

Don't get me wrong, Marino is one of my favorite all-time Dolphins and always will be. But people need to get over it and move on.
