Marino's fake spike for TD

No doubt that play is my personal favorite moment in ALL of sports. :D That was sweet! :D
 
I remember I was home from college that weekend in '94. I actually ripped my Dolphin hat off my head in disgust earlier in the game when we were falling behind. It was - by far - the sweetest comeback game I ever saw during the Marino era. He and Kosar knew to pick on rookie Glen at the right moment. Smartest play I've ever seen!!

I still have the ripped version of the Fake Spike game on my HD.As igor said I did put it up but drew no interest as people generally preferred the DVD versions.It was my intention to do the smaller rips for all of the major games during slow times but fortunately there have not been any slow times as yet.When it happens I will put it up again and revisit some of the most popular games such as the 85 Bears game.

BTW to the newbees who feel overwhelmed by the technology its really quite simple.You install a client www.bitornado.com open the torrent file and you start loading the video on your HD.
 
im sure most of you know, but bernie was the one who 'made" up that play, they would always run it in practice, but would never use it until bernie noticed that the rookie had already been burned by marino and ingram, and it was a perfect oppurtunity to try it, who would have thought that bernie would have made the call, i always thought that dan was just doin his normal improv last min comeback, needless to say, jets fans will always hate us and dan for that play, and i will always love him for it.
 
Does anyone want the smaller Jets fake spike full game besides igor ? It would be approx 1.1 gig in size.

I have it on tape and watch it every time I need a laugh....GOD I HATE THE JETS!!!!!
 
Personally, my favorite was the Don Strock hook and ladder against San Diego in the playoff game.

It is without a doubt the best moment in my life as a Dolphins fan. Nothing the Dolphins have done in my lifetime comes close to the Fake Spike. I've never celebrated a Dolphin victory like I celebrated that one. It was incredible.:cool:
