I was seeing that FAvre has 390 TD's to MArino's 420, and theres half a season to play!! If BRett comes close this year You betcha he will play next year just so he can get that TD record!!! I would of never thought the TD mark will ever get broken, but it will:fire:

Thoughts??

I don't see Favre as the type of guy who'll stick around, with a bad football team, just to break a record.

Also, with the way he is playing it might take him more then a year and a half to even get 30 TD's.

The guy has gone though a LOT in the last year and a half...I think this will be his last year.

Nublar between you and me FAvre loves having records and i think before he calls it quits he wants to break it, he is having a good season

Farve is done....he has no one to throw to. I'd be surprised if he throws more than 10-15 more TD's this season....and it's party time for him.

He already has 14 TD's and its half the season!! He will be back next year with a good fresh team

I got to side with Unified, I think Brett's Body is going to say enough. They have got some serious re-tooling to do in Green Bay, and I think he should exit now with his pride, and while he still has his health and game!:)

Who thinks with today's secondary rules that Marino would have had 500 TD's.

He could sign with a contender next year just for that Bowl nad recored cuz FAvre still looks good

Have you looked at him sitting on the sidelines....he's done. The Packers are in a worse shape than the Dolphins....and it will be years to rebuild that team. They don't have any cap space...thats another reason he'll have to go.

- Fin Fan in Cali _ I have been meaning to ask you this , even though we have a lot of time left : When you head out of this world , do you want " Lenny" or "Little Wing" playing? Or are you going to throw the change up at me?;)

Bro he is ending his career with Green Bay. Dan hads opportunities to finish his career with other teams, and said no thanks. Brett has the same class about him as well. It will be a very sad day in Packertown when he announces it.

Favre, like Marino, was a team first player. He doesnt have sleepless nights wondering about records he didnt break, but games he didnt win.
