yeah i dont understand it, we'll need one more corner at least, but lets see what else is done before next week...

There are a few CBs left and CB Ambrose was cut by the Saints, who might be a decent veteran pickup. Plus some OL depth could be needed...

Ambrose would be a nice vet pickup if he has something left in his tank. Not sure how effective Poole would be if he comes back this season. What month did he injure himself? May? Even then, 6 months would be late November.

Had 3 Ints last season, so there should be something left in terms of being a nickel/dime back.

Ambrose is 35 in like 2 weeks. he would not be a good addition AT ALL. Besides, he said he was retiring if he was cut by KC, which he was

Well, our CB situation isn't too good. Madison/Daniels/Howard is about 1-2 players short even if Poole may or may not return. Our guard depth is also pretty slight. Madden 06 won't even allow me to cut Damion Cook because there aren't enough guards. So we'll definitely need to add some players

I am honesty not that surprised at all by Mario Edwards release. I was thinking that he wouldn't even make it past the cuts a couple days ago. Kris Richard whom was also released apparently was a Special Teams player and nothing more. As of now, yes, we only have 4 CB's plus Will Poole on the PUP list. There's no doubt in my mind that Saban knows what he's doing because he knows his CB's better than any other position and for those whom do not know... he started his career in the NFL as a CB's coach before becoming a Defensive Coordinator with Belichick in Cleveland.
