So I just read an article from Florio that stated that Mario left the Niners game with a stomach virus. There are only 16 games a year, I am not doubting his virus, but how bad is that when you get sick on GAME DAY.

I've seen Mario make a few tackles earlier in the season, but dollar for dollar, pound for pound he appears to be a waste of money. I was hoping that he wanted to ball this year, being in hot weather, being let go by Buffalo, but he does not appear to want IT at all. He appears to be coasting/

Wouldn't it be nice if he provided some push against the Ravens? He just doesn't seem to be reliable at all.

I'm glad we gambled on him, but it's not looking like we are getting anything from the guy.

I think that's why they asked Wake to play alot more.

They will baby him the rest of the season, hope to get some plays out of him down the stretch, particularly the Bills game, but I think he's history come February.

The only time Mario has looked dominant this season was against our oline in training camp. He just does not seem to have the strength and explosiveness he once did.

You've gotten more than I expected...so be happy!

KC- first I always wanted to compliment you on your avatar.- simply fantastic. I was really excited about this signing, combined with the savings of OV's GIANT contract. First the guy concusses himself, then tweaks an ankle and a virus. Between all of that, maybe a few impact plays. WE CUT AND RUN as soon as its cap friendly. Huge fall from grace.

I would move on from him as soon as we are able to.

Haha, good man, I have no idea who the lady is, but that body on her is amazing.

But yeah, Mario has fallen off the cliff like the proverbial 30 year old running back. He should hang them up after the season and count his coins.

I thought he played well...the first game of the season. Since then, not so much.

this is the problem with free agency.

Gotta build through the draft.

I get this sense he's sulking on the sidelines. I don't know why... maybe it's his reputation and demeanor. He's sulking in my opinion while everyone else is having success. That's not a good sign he's going to come around. I hope i'm wrong because we need everyone to elevate their games.

Gase has been able to reach most of the players except for Mario Williams.

He has had 2 good games....1 vs Seattle 1 vs Bills.

He won't be back unless he takes less money...he might even retire

I'm still holding out hope he shows up for us down the stretch and makes an impact.

Hard to take the stomach bug thing at face value, wonder if they are trying to avoid distractions - but the coaching staff has been very up front this year, so perhaps it just is what it is.
