Its still not completely known what are the exact plans for the dolphins defense. But playing the 4-3 is what we may play a lot regardless. I think if we keep our core defenders and add a player like Mario Williams, this could push our defense over the top. Also allow us to focus on something else besides a pass rusher in the draft. Mario Williams is the guy I want this FA offseason.

both Langford and Soliai are FA's. if we sign Williams, there's no way we'll have the cap room to bring both back. and i guess Wake would be our RDE, not OLB

If we miss out on Peyton Manning (in which case we have no QB again next year anyway so everything else is kind of a moot point) then sure bring him in... He's a great player.

I would rather sign Solai, and look for an edge pass rusher in the middle rounds.
Williams isn't going to be signed IMHO.

I not convinced Solai will play upto standard once he receives a contract. Plays less than 50% of snaps. I want a more mobile guy, who can play over 60% and provide a solid rotation.

Cameron Wake has the versatility to move back and fourth between OLB and DE, just like Clay for the Green Bay Packers. Williams would be a dominate at his natural position as DE to pair with Wake. The develop of Jared Oderick who can bring pass rush from the DT and DE position could give us the pass rush that is needed in the league of passing QBs.

Personally i do not want to touch Matt Flynn. Until i know Peyton is football healthy than im not expecting him to be. I am prepared to go with Matt Moore, and groom a young QB like Tannehill.

Yeah, imagine we had JPP and then drafted Aaron Hernandez in the 3rd that same year.... Sickening. ****ing disgusting.

People say that Ireland hasn't done a bad job just because they look at the talent we have on the field, and on paper, he has added SOME talent. But the reality is, he has left so much to be desired it isn't even funny. He could have done so much more with his draft picks here than he has it's ridiculous.
