I am noticing that Parcells is signing a lot of FA's for the O-Line, and D-Line which is mainly the only thin worth it with the #1 pick [besides Mcfadden]..does anyonee think he is on the verge of making the trade with the Cowboys to bring in Barber and pair him up with Ronnie Brown? Also does anyone know if the deal would be anytime soon or would it be a couple days before or during the draft.

One other thing, does anyone think the Dolphins want either Chad Johnson, Michael Huff, Lance Briggs, or Javon Walker?

Why would we trade for barber? He would be so costly, we need our picks. I like what we have in in the running game. I would rather go after other areas to improve our team.. Besides Julius Jones is there for the taking.

If there was someway to communicate with someone working with the Dolphins I would tell them exactly who we need to sign.

First off- Either trade for Barber, or get Turner because Brown and one of these guys would be DEADLY.
Second- Who is going to play MLB next year? We need to get one.
Third- We need a big physical WR [I guess that is what Wilford is for] but we need Javon Walker. We also need a TE.
We need Safties and CB'S big time. Deangelo Hall, Trufant, Michael Huff, Eugene Wilson are all guys we should go after.
Last but not least we need a veteran QB who has experience as a starter and being a good one. Beck played sloppy lasy year and McCown underachived in Oakland.

What do we have for RB?
One has a knee, other is a FA, RW might still be stoned, the other is coming off his rookie year where he barely played and only displayed that he is a role player not an every down back.
Not sure Parcells doesnt pull the trigger on a game breaking RB named McFadden.

He is rumored to be on the block and we have a lot to give up..i wouldn't mind giving a 2nd [we have two] or 3rd round pick for him because he is a very young and has a lot of potential.

no x5. I don't think Miami will acquire any of the players you mentioned.

Yea, great idea.....I wish they would think of that......

Seriously.....good luck landing all of them. Also, you make it sound easy to sign a good QB with experience. reality check.....there aren't many in FA so you have to find a team willing to trade. It's not like we can just call up the Steeler's and ask for them to give us big ben.

You have to think about things that are reasonable. I'm sure the front office would love for everything to be as easy as just signing a great player. it's a little more work than that.

I am not saying sign all of them, I am just giving my opinion on what we need. I would love to have them all but I am not one of those stupid people that thinks we will sign all the big name FA's.

I would not be mad. I hate to say it but you are definitely right. There is no way we can rely on RB to handle the load, Chatman is pretty decent but RW is a crap shoot and so is Lorenzo Booker. At this point the only thing we have for sure is Jesse Chatman. I say we grab McFadden and let other teams beg for him. It would be fun. And if nobody begs, then we got ourselves a new back, possibly the Peterson of 08.

I say we get Michael Turner, guy is a beast who hasn't showed EVERYTHING he can o behind LT and I heard we are one of the teams talking to him. We would have thunder [ronnie brown] and lightning [michael turner] but those talks haven't even sarted yet from what I am guessing.
