Let's move on from the vitriol...

Mark Barron. Dude is a vicious hitter and plays sound. Solidifies the backfield from day one. Maybe that's what the Dolphins were thinking in releasing Yeremiah Bell. Maybe they knew that they were going to make a play for Mark Barron.

This would probably mean no Tannehill, but I think i'm ok with that. I see at least 8 1st through 3rd round quarterbacks in this draft..

I am a Bama fan but let me say that I like your style go ahead and put the final nail in Irelands coffin if he did this!

I hope this is not the case.

It'll be a more enjoyable, exciting season watching Tannehill try to beat out Moore than watching Moore compete with Garrard, or even watching Barron tear it up. Moore vs Garrard is the battle of two QBs who in a year will be off the team. So we acquire 3 new QBs next year. I'll pass, lets take a shot on a 1st round QB for once. We can't seem to turn a first rounder into a good pick, anyways. Ever. (exception: jake long). We need a rookie QB and the QB I want is Tannehill. So Tannehill at 8. Fallback option, Weeden.

would be a bigger reach than tannehill at 8.. Barrons a late 1st rounder, and I really don't think we go defence in first 2 rounds.

I would love to be able to trade back and get this guy in the middle of round 1. The guy is a difference maker on defense and IMHO has a chance to be one of the premier safeties in this league for a long time. I like him a bit more than I did Earl Thomas coming out and I was upset when we didnt draft him.

8 is a little too high for Barron and really any safety for that matter. with the need for a QB and a pass-rusher, I would go for either one of those two. good QBs and pass-rushers rarely come from anywhere but the 1st round

He is a good player, but I would rather go with Marshall and Jones at safeties than use a first or a second rounder Barron. We other more pressing needs. RG, RT, WR1, WR2, TE, OLB

I would think that even the most ardent Bama fan like TedSlimmJr would say that Barron at #8 is a little too high for him.

Tanahill is not worth the 8...You take BPA at for a WR, DT, DE at 8...

I personally want a WR...its time to get some skill players on our team...

Trade down. Trade down. TRADE DOWN. Stock pile for the 2nd round.

With this front office anything is possible but I doubt we take Barron because with the release of Bell Jones will move into the Strong Saftey spot which is his natural position and Marshall will play FS, I actually like it

This. Wait til the second and see which (Tannehill, Weeden or other) QB is available. Groom him. Profit.

If Philbin and Sherman want him and believe that he's the guy you take Tannehill at #8 if he's available. If you don't take him he will be gone by the time you pick again. If you don't want Tanny take the best player available at #8.

Barron late 1st......early 2nd rounder IMO.
