Mark Ingram has swelling in knee

Mark Ingram - RB - Saints

Saints rookie Mark Ingram sat out Tuesday's practice with swelling in his knee.

Ingram will likely miss Wednesday's practice as well, but the Saints don't seem to be concerned about the swelling. He's expected back on the field later this week.

I know this doesn't concern us but if we would of drafted him and this was already happening I would start to worry a little bit considering he had surgery on his knee.

ehhh...definitely something to watch but if he suits up and plays 3 quarters this weekend i'll consider it at least for the time being a non issue...but swelling in the knee is never something to just blow off

if he goes 16 games and plays at the level i expect him to this won't amount to a hill of beans

Way to go Sparano. If we had drafted Ingram, he would likely not have done whatever it was that caused his knee to swell and be fine right now. So, by not taking Ingram, Ireland and Sparano not only screwed Miami over, but the saints too.

i heard buzz about that also but some of the nfl insider guys shot that down on draft day...
